A platform enabling users worldwide to view, upload, discover, and interact with a vast library of high-quality maps and images.

Background story

SOAR had already launched with a few clients but lacked a broad outreach and had some UX difficulties. Initially, we were approached with a small task: creating a simple, effective onboarding process for users. This marked the beginning of a long collaboration.

01. Guiding Users

Simple Onboarding

Our first task was clear: design onboarding screens to guide users through the platform efficiently.

02. From Onboarding to Improvement

Website UI Revamp

While working on the onboarding, we noticed the website’s UI was lacking in several areas. After completing the onboarding, we quickly moved to redesign the website with new icons, interactions, and an overall improved user experience.

03. Soaring to New Heights

New Feature for Drone Pilots

After the website revamp, it became evident that onboarding was no longer needed due to the improved user experience. However, while we worked on the redesign, the client identified a new community in need of the platform: drone pilots. This led us to work on an exciting new feature tailored specifically for them.

04. Redefining First Impressions

Landing Page

After successfully implementing all the changes, we went ahead and designed a new landing page to better represent the platform.

Summary

What began as a small, one-off project evolved into a significant collaboration with a long-term impact. The company has grown significantly, and we continue to assist them with their evolving needs from time to time.
